A little bit about my background: I am a northerner, I was raised in Cleveland,

OH (which I guess makes me a midwesterner), but I went away for college (far away actually) and attended Palm Beach Atlantic College in W. Palm Beach, FL,where I majored in Religion and minored in Psychology.  I then went to South-eastern Baptist Theological Seminary and got my Masters in Counseling.  While I was in grad school I worked with pre-school age children, teaching basic gymnastics, tumbling, and fitness for about 4 years.  After grad school I moved from NC with my girlfriend (and now wife) when her job transferred her here to Atlanta.  My wife and I just had our fourth anniversary this past July 5th (2007).  Shortly after having moved to Atlanta I was hired by Fulton Science Academy MS and I have been here since we opened in Fall of 2002.  I wear many hats here at FSA - I do some scheduling (especially during the summer), counsel students, am involved in the standardized testing process, run the entire after school program, act as Athletic Director, coach the soccer team, coordinate Picture Day, help prepare 8th graders for high school and schedule various things for the faculty.  I love this job and this school - it truly is a wonderful place to receive an education!
