  • We will be discussing and planning new community service activities for this semester. Bring any ideas of things that you would like to do to help our community or environment!
  • Set a date for a lock-in or field trip.

·       No NJHS today because of Parent Conference Day

 

NJHS Notes for October 3

·       People Bingo Winner- Michael Nichols (People Bingo was our Icebreaker)

·       Made cards for children in the hospital

 

 

NJHS Notes for September 12th

·       Start committees today. You were told what committee you were selected for and selected a leader for your committee.

·       Took a vote on whether or not we would buy a retractable lanyard because we are thinking about using those as fundraisers

 

Notes from NJHS Meeting held on Friday, September 5, 2008.

 

-Pay dues ($10 each). Some of the funds will be used to buy snacks for NJHS meetings.

 

-Community Service Ideas (we voted)

·         Foster Children (25 votes)

·         Children in hospitals (30 votes)

·         Homeless families e.g. Habitat for Humanity (15 votes)

·         Soldiers in Iraq (22 votes)

·         School Improvements (17 votes)

 

-Other Suggestions

Members completed a questionnaire on expectations and suggestions for NJHS.
