There will be an FSA Governing Board Meeting on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 9:00 am in the FSA cafeteria. Everyone is invited.

8th graders had a fantastic three days Georgia Studies tour last week and today 7th graders went to Orlando for three days end of year field trip. Pcitures of end of year field trips can be found on the hallway wall close to administrative area.

Spring concert was fun.  A big thank you to Mr. Reed for organizing this year's spring concert.  

Students enjoyed 4th Annual Bilal "Bill" Yaldiz Science Bowl this week. Mr. Yaldiz was the 1st science olympiad coach of FSA.

A big thank you to those parents who volunteered to organize today's 6th grade dance.

6th Grade Math Safari - May 10

On Saturday, May 10th, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon the 6th grade math classes will be participating in an extra credit 'Consumer Math Safari' at the North Point Mall. 

Author to Visit FSA - May 12

Author of Heir Apparent and many other books, Vivian Vande Velde will be here to talk to our students on May 12th.  "All the students have heard Heir Apparent," says Mrs. Teeling, Art teacher. "They love the book and enjoy the struggle of the main character as she tries to figure out the virtual reality game she is stuck in. 

6th GRADE SPACE CAMP - May 16-18

FSA 6th Grade students are invited to join the annual 6th grade field trip to SPACE CAMP where teamwork, self confidence and communication will be achieved through state-of-the-art simulations, missions, rocket building and robotics

8th Grade Graduation Picnic - Sunday, May 18 at 1:00PM

All 8th graders and their families are invited to join their classmates on Sunday, May 18, 2008  between 1-3:30 PM at Wills Park, Alpharetta for a fun filled day to start off their last week at FSA.

Talent Show - May 19, 20, 21 between 1:45pm and 3:45pm

6th Grade, May 19 / 7th Grade, May 20 / 8th Grade, May 21

Penultimate / Field Day - Thursday, May 22 at FSA.

Each grade will hold their own events.

Spirit Week - Last week of School

There will be an activity each day organized by Student Council.
