The 6th grade dance was fun for all.  Thank you Nan Janis for agreeing to coordinate everything from home while she is laid up with crutches.  Also big thanks to Leanne Phillips for coordinating things at school and Valerie Carter for handling all of the drinks.  Many more thanks to everyone who sent snacks, set up, served snacks, and cleaned up.  The kids had a great time and hopefully you had fun just watching from the sidelines.

We only have two weeks left and it is moving fast. I would like to extend a huge thank you to all of the officers who have served so well this year.  Secretary - Kathy Starr, Treasurer – Sherri Swimmer, Vice-President of Educational Enrichment – Teresa Bukovics, Vice-President of Hospitality – Ellen Maurer, Vice-President of Membership/Fund Raising – Gay Koenig, and Vice-President of Student Services – Raegan Hymel.  These women have supported our PVO and worked hard all year to make sure the organization ran smoothly.  They make it look effortless but it does take a lot of coordination and dedication.  I also want to thank all of the Committee Chairs who have headed the many different functions of PVO.  Also everyone who just showed up and worked (you know who you are), thank you.  We could not put on such fun events without you.

Speaking of fun events, we still have Penultimate Day on Thursday, May 22.  Arlene Martinides and Teresa Bukovics have many fun events planned that day and will need your assistance to come man the booths.  Lunch will be provided for volunteer parents by our wonderful teachers.  It is a fun day (even for the parents) so send an email today and get on the volunteer list.  Arlene ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
