FSA Students Enjoyed TEACH Robot Workshop PDF Print E-mail

Last Saturday April 26, TEACH Robotics team held a workshop for the middle schools around.The main goal is to improve students’ engineering skills with real life applications such as building a robot.

 

Once students get the basics they can try to compete at the local competitions. There are lots of competitions all around the nation. The biggest one is FIRST (http://www.usfirst.org) and they use the same robot kit that we use.        

 

Team members experienced how to lead a group of students in stress, like in the professional life. We received great feedbacks from participants, they seemed to like the program and learned a lot of new things in only ONE DAY!

 

Since TEACH very good response from the middle schools around and some could not attend because of the schedule, they are planning to make this event again.
