Fewer than 60 people responded to the survey on private bus service for FSA students.  Of these responses, only 24 were positive with a few more "maybe" responses. 

The positive responses were spread across the proposed routes (6 for route 1, 2 for route 2, 10 for route 3 and several that did not indicate a preferred route).  Based on these results and the proposed bus company's need for a commitment by May 10th for 30 students per route, I don't think there is enough interest to pursue private bus service further at this time.

Carpooling is another option for reducing the amount of driving to/from FSA.

There is a notebook in the FSA front office that lists people interested in carpooling for the 2007-2008 year.  A similar list will be available during orientation for the 2008-2009 year.  If you want to get started, you can add your name to the blank pages in the back of the notebook to indicate that you are looking for a carpool.
