We are proud to announce our first FSA Parent/Teacher Soccer Tournament. Proceeds will be used to help build an outside classroom at FSA. Justin Kriske, an FSA graduate, is heading up this project as part of his Eagle Scout Leadership Service Project.

Rules
Each team will include 4 players

Teams can either set their own teams, or if they don’t know any other player, they can apply individually and will be matched up with other individuals without a team

No subs required unless needed

Duration for each game is expected to be 20 minutes

Each player on the winning team will be awarded with an FSA 2008 Parent/Teacher Soccer Tournament Cup

Participant fee is $10 and spectators pay $3

Players must wear shin guards.  There will be a limited number supplied by FSA.  Please indicate if you need a pair on registration form

Deadline to apply and pay is November 25, 2008

Each team is allowed ONE 60-second timeout per game with GK possession or possession free kick

Slide tackling is NOT allowed

Ties will be broken by a 5-minute sudden death overtime period - then penalty kicks

Additional rules (if needed) and schedule will be sent out prior to the tournament.

Teams will be notified of the schedule by e-mail prior to the event, and will be assigned a team color to wear for the tournament.  If multiple teams choose the same color, your team may be assigned another color or asked to wear “pinnies”.

Individual Registration
