Duke TIP Program (2007) - This year, 55 students qualified to take the test, with 38 students actually taking them. Out of 38 students, 22 received state-wide recognition and 4 did well enough to receive national recognition

FSA Science Olympiad Team in Nationals Science Olympiad in Wichita, KS.

FSA Science Olympiad Team got 2nd place in State Science Olympiad and qualified to compete in Nationals.

Mr. Akgul won Wal-Mart City of Alpharetta Teacher of the Year Award.

 

Congratulations to 6th Grader, Joey Krafchick who won 2nd Place in 2007 National School Scrabble Championship in Rhode Island.

Congratulations to Mr. Akgul, Winner of 2007 Outstanding Service Award by Environmental Education Alliance of Georgia.

Odyssey of the Mind Team won two 2nd places in Regional Odyssey of the Mind Competition and one of our team qualified to Compete in State Odyssey of the Mind.

FSA Chess Team won 3rd place in State Chess Tournament

6th Grader Hannah Friedman got 1st place in State Media Festival and Qualified to Compete in International Student Media Festival.

6th Grader Hannah Friedman got superior placement in Fulton County Media Festival and Qualified to Compete in State Media Festival.

FSA Students got great results in 2007 Math League.

Tech Fair Team won one 1st place, two 2nd places and three 3rd places in State Tech Fair.

4 years in a row Fulton Science Academy wins First Place in Science Olympiad Regional Tournament

Math Olympiad Team won Third Place in Regional Tournament

Mark Stathos won 1st place in Fulton County Science & Engineering Fair in the category of Mathematics.

FSA Chess Team Won 3rd Place in Regional Chess Tournament

Great Results in Fulton County Tech Fair – Seven 1st places, Six 2nd places and one third place.

FSA Future City Design Team won Best Architectural Design Award in State

3rd Place in Martin Luther King, Jr. Chess Tournament

3rd Place in Greater Atlanta Christian School Chess tournament

FSA has been selected as "Superstar" school in Clear Air Campaign

Great Results in Invitational Science Olympiad

FSA Chess Team Won 9th Place in Nation

The FSA Academic Bowl placed first in the FCBOE Academic Bowl competition held on November 9, 2006

FSA Spanish Team won 2 Superior, 1 Excellent and 1 Good Placement, October 2006

2006 Platinum Award from Governor’s Office of Student Achievement for Greatest Gain in Meeting and Exceeding Standards.
